IWC sin duda, el tudor es muy bonito, pero este reloj no lo entiendo sin bisel giratorio, en cambio el IWC conserva su diseño original de siempre
A ver… yo los he manoseado, me los he probado y me gustan, además me quedan de p…madre como mi Datejust de 36mm
Otro para Tudor
El IWC me parece un reloj muy superior al Tudor. Pero dudo que fuera un reloj que me plantearía.
Pienso que la marca tiene (mucho) más caché, y aparte, que en ese calibre, IWC ha cambiado las principales partes funcionales por unas de factura propia: muelle principal, barrilete, rueda de escape, áncora y el volante completo incluyendo su muelle. Por lo visto también el acabado y las tolerancias son superiores también a las de los ébauchés base.
After subjecting the calibre to comprehensive upgrading, it operates with significantly less friction and its balance swings through a larger arc. IWC insists on closer tolerances for endshake, meshing and truing in the flat than ETA permits. A lever is individually made for each movement. Nearly all critical components along the path from the escapement to the mainspring are removed from the movement and replaced with corresponding components from IWC’s own manufacture. The escapement and balance are optimally fine-tuned and painstakingly adjusted.
IWC buys at ETA no complete movements. The movements are only bought in its components, never assembled. In addition, only the best possible version is purchased - the so-called Chronometer version. Some components of the original ETA calibre’s are immediately eliminated and are never used by IWC. They are replaced by usually more expensive and better ones.
The main parts IWC replaces are: A. the mainspring
B. the barrel
C. the escape wheel
D. the pallet fork
E. the complete balance including the balance spring
The entire escapement is a good example. It is ordered separately with different, more exact technical IWC specifications and is only fitted into the calibre at the end of the assembly.

Y aquí viene otra cosa, hasta qué punto mitificamos las manufacturas, o hasta qué otro punto consideramos que es un fastidio pagar casi 10 veces más por un reloj que puede montar “la misma” máquina, aunque esté modificada, que te pueda llevar un p.e. Hamilton.
PD: En mi caso, hay un Ingenieur “clásico” que me gusta infinitamente más.

Precioso ese Ingeniero. IWC posiblemente sea una de lasmarcas con más relojes que me gustan, si hablamos de estética pura y dura. Y eso que sus divers no me dicen gran cosa.

Es precioso, pero 43mm en este tipo de reloj…son muchos mm para mí
